The Western Michigan women's cross country team calls the Pine View Golf Club of Three Rivers, Mich., its home.
Pine View annually hosts the George Dales Invitational, named after WMU's legendary men's cross country coach. The 6k women's race and 8k men's race are held annually in early September. Recently, Western Michigan and Pine View held the Mid-American Conference Championships on Oct. 29, 2010 in which the Broncos finished in sixth place.
The golf course provides a fast, yet challenging 6k women's course for the Broncos to host meets and practice at.
Directions:
Pine View Golf Club is located 5 miles north of Three Rivers or 4 miles south of Schoolcraft West of US-131. Take US-131 and follow the Michigan road signs that are south of Schoolcraft straight to the course. If you're coming from the south, take M-216, go west 1 mile to Pulver Road, go right 1/2 mile to the entrance.
