Puck Drop For NCHC Semifinals Game Against Minnesota-Duluth Set for 5:08 P.M.

MINNEAPOLIS – The National Collegiate Hockey Conference has announced the start times for the Frozen Faceoff Semifinals, with Western Michigan taking on Minnesota-Duluth at on Friday 5:08 p.m. ET.

The game can be seen live on CBS Sports Network and heard live on the Bronco Radio Network. The three-seeded Broncos defeated Omaha in the NCHC Quarterfinals after Michael Rebry scored the game-winning goal in game three of the series in overtime, for the 2-1 win. This is WMU's second trip to the NCHC Frozen Faceoff since joining the league in 2013. Previously, Western Michigan played in the first-ever Frozen Faceoff in 2014. WMU fell to Denver in the semifinals and then loss to North Dakota in the third place game.

The second-seeded Bulldogs swept Miami in their best-of-three series, beating the Redhawks 5-4 in overtime and then 5-3 on Saturday night. WMU and UMD split the season series, 2-2-0, with each series finishing 1-1-0.
