2008-09: Opened up the indoor season with a career-best throw of 31-9.50 in the shot put at the EMU invite ... threw a personal-best distance in the hammer throw, 44-4.25, at the Ball State Quad meet ... opened the outdoor season with a personal-best distance of 132-7 in the hammer throw at the Compas Classic ... placed fifth in the shot put, discus and javelin at the Jack Shaw Invitational.

2007-08: Competed in the weight throw and shot put during the indoor season ... competed in the hammer throw, discus throw, and shot put during the outdoor season.

High School: Named captain of track & field team as a senior ... member of a track team that won back-to-back conference championships in 2006 and 2007 ... personal best 112-2 in discus as a senior.

Personal: Majoring in biology ... daughter of Mark and Cathy Van Voorhis ... born Oct. 2, 1989.
