PLEASE NOTE - login website change to WMUAlumni.com
Dear Varsity W Club Member:
It is a pleasure to notify you that the Varsity W Club has completed the first phase of its effort to link all former WMU letter winners through a directory. Phase one is an on-line community consisting of about 5,000 former varsity student athletes as part of the overall WMU alumni on-line community.
The W Club on-line community will allow you to connect with former teammates and locate other letter winners. This specific community has been designed for the exclusive use of WMU former varsity letter winners who are members of the W Club.
This new community has many of the same features as other web-based communities, such as MySpace. However, there is greater security because the authenticity of its registered users is confirmed prior to access being granted.
You will be able to maintain your own personal profile. You will also be able to message within the community, maintain your own blog, photo album, join the alumni groups already established (graduation year, geographic location and special interests) and suggest your own WMU groups.
Because you are a member of the Varsity W Club by virtue of winning a letter, we want to make your first entry into the new on-line W Club community as easy as possible. To do that, you do not need to register, but can simply sign in. In the next couple of days, please visit: WMUAlumni.com and click on “Sign-In”. (Do not click on Register, as registered users cannot access the community that way).
On the Sign–In page you will be ask for your Username. This number was provided in the letter mailed this May. It is unique to you and ensures the authenticity of the W Club members within the community. Your temporary password is: wclub.
Once entry information has been entered, you will have access to your personal profile and can establish your own Username, password and determine the information you want accessible to others in the community.
We are excited about the Varsity W Club’s new on-line community. We hope that you will take advantage of its many features. The key to the success of this Community is to connect with as many of your former teammates and friends as possible. We hope you will help spread the word that we are now linked.
If you have questions, please contact the WMU Alumni Association at (269) 387-8777.
Sincerely,
Bud Donnelly, President
Varsity W Club
