KALAMAZOO, Mich.- A weekend snow storm left behind soggy conditions, as both the Western Michigan baseball and softball teams were forced to cancel home Tuesday contests. The baseball team was slated to host Grand Valley State, while the softball team was to face Oakland. Both teams are working on dates to reschedule.
The Broncos baseball team, off to one of their best starts in school history with a 12-4-1 overall record, next heads to Athens, Ohio, to face the Ohio Bobcats in a three-game MAC set over the weekend.
The WMU softball team (6-7) travels to Central Michigan for a doubleheader on Friday, and then to Eastern Michigan for a twinbill on Saturday.
