KALAMAZOO -- The Western Michigan hockey team held steady at No. 6 in both the and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls released on Monday afternoon.

The Broncos are fresh off a split with No. 3 Miami and head to Ohio State this weekend for a pair of games on Friday and Saturday night. The Buckeyes split with No. 20 Alaska over the weekend, falling in the first game 6-1 and then winning on Saturday 3-1. The meeting will be the final one in the history of the CCHA for WMU and OSU as both head to separate conferences next season. This is also the first trip for the Broncos down to Columbus since the 2009-10 season.

Western Michigan has appeared in the nation's top 15 in both polls in every week this season and have spent a total of 13 weeks in the top 10. Sixth is the highest rated the Broncos have been this season.
