Bronco Hockey Holds Steady at No. 9

KALAMAZOO -- After splitting on the road at Alaska, the Western Michigan hockey program held steady at No. 9 in both the and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls on Monday.

Western Michigan (6-3-1, 3-2-1-1, CCHA) heads into the week with a bye before they are back in action on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 against Northern Michigan when they begin a four game homestand against the Wildcats and Ferris State.

The Broncos have been ranked in the top 15 every week this season and are spending their third week in the nation's top 10. Once Western Michigan also comes in as the top ranked hockey program in the state as well as the third-highest ranked team in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
