KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Members of the Western Michigan women's basketball team volunteered their time at the Winchell Elementary School annual Halloween Carnival this past Saturday, Oct. 27.

The team members ran three of the 22 stations that were at the carnival, working the bean-bag and ring toss games, while also helping out at the cookie-making station.

"It was fun to dress up along with all of the kids and get a chance to help out at their event," said sophomore guard Jazmine Windham. "I think all of us that went had a great time and would love to go back next year."

The Broncos are nearing the start of their 2012-13 season, the first under head coach Shane Clipfell. Western Michigan hosts Wayne State Friday, Nov. 2 and Trine, Wednesday, Nov. 7 in exhibition play. Both contests start at 7 p.m. Western Michigan kicks off the regular season Saturday, Nov. 10, hosting American at 2 p.m.
