Broncos Complete Team Bonding Mission at Fort Custer Army Training Center
KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan women's basketball team spent part of Friday, Oct. 5, on a team-bonding mission at Fort Custer Army training facility in Augusta, Mich.
The Broncos went through the Leadership Reaction Course, which consisted of a series of stations which challenged the mental and physical abilities of the players. The situations tested the players' problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
Exercises included moving planks and barrels across pools of water, as well as moving themselves and barrels over walls. They also had to move mock ammunition across the field without touching marked objects.
Fort Custer is a federally owned and state-operated Michigan Army National Guard training facility and is one of the most heavily used training facilities in the Midwest.
