Women's Basketball Announces Summer Camp Dates
KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan women's basketball program will hold its Day Camp June 25-28 and its Team Shoot Out Camp June 29.
The Day Camp (June 25-28) is designed to teach fundamental skills and rules of the game to young aspiring players in the 3rd-8th grade, and is $100 per person. Skills will be taught in an energetic, encouraging fashion. All major areas of the game will be covered including: shooting, passing, ball handling, rebounding, defense and sportsmanship. Games, contests and time with our players assure an exciting time!

The Team Shoot Out Camp (June 29) is for AAU and High School Teams, grades 9-12, and teams are guaranteed four games, with cost set at $250 per team. Games will be stopped clock with a registered official on each court. Teams will start out the day in pool play and then break for lunch for an hour, after lunch will begin tournament play. Seeding for the tournament will depend on seeding from each pool.
