KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The first Mid-American Conference West Division weekly honor goes to redshirt freshman Andrew Haldeman for his performance against Eastern Illinois as the Ferndale, Mich., native was named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week.

Haldeman solidified himself as the Broncos' place kicker with seven made PATs, extending the program record of consecutive PATs to 137, in a 52-31 win over Eastern Illinois.  He also made his first career field goal from a distance of 37 yards.

Haldeman added nine kick offs with one touchback and forcing Eastern Illinois into an average starting field position of its own 27-yard line.

This is the 39th MAC West Special Teams POTW, an award that began in 1999, selection in program history and 28th of the Bill Cubit era.
