WMU vs. Toledo to Air on ESPN3
KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Yet another WMU football game will appear on the ESPN family of networks in 2012 as the Broncos' Sept. 29 tilt against Toledo will stream live on ESPN3 at 7 p.m.
The Mid-American Conference received confirmation this morning that for games on that date will air on the network's online vehicle with WMU vs. Toledo serving as the finale of a day full of MAC football action.
Miami at Akron kicks things off on Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. with Central Michigan at NIU and Ohio at UMass each at 3:30 p.m. These three games lead into the showdown between the Broncos and Rockets from Waldo Stadium.
This announcement solidifies that at least seven of WMU's 12 games this season, including four home games will be broadcast live nationally on some level. Below is WMU football's 2012 TV schedule:
Sept. 1 - at Illinois, 11 a.m. CDT (ESPNU)
Sept. 8 - Eastern Illinois, 7 p.m. (ESPN3)
Sept. 15 - at Minnesota, 11 a.m. CDT (B1G Network)
Sept. 22 - UConn, 2 p.m. (ESPN3)
Sept. 29 - Toledo, 7 p.m. (ESPN3)
Oct. 27 - NIU, 12 p.m. (ESPN Regional/ESPN3)
Nov. 3 - at CMU, 1 p.m. (ESPN3)
