WMU's Dr. Mike Miller to be Named Fellow at NATA Convention

Kalamazoo, Mich. - Michael G. Miller, PhD, EdD, AT, ATC, CSCS, FNATA of the Western Michigan University faculty will be honored as a National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) Fellow on June 28, 2012 in St. Louis, Mo.

Dr. Miller is currently a Professor in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation and is the Program Director for the Graduate Athletic Training Program.

Dr. Miller earned his Bachelors of Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania, his Masters of Science and Doctor of Education from West Virginia University.

The NATA's Fellows program recognizes certified athletic trainers who have demonstrated professional achievement in research or education that is combined with service to the profession of athletic training.  Only the most accomplished scholars in the profession are awarded this distinction and are allowed to use the esteemed designation "FNATA".
