Kalamazoo, Mich. - The 2012 Bronco Senior Reception was held Monday, April 16 at the Fetzer Center. The class of senior student-athletes were all brought together to pick up class rings, socialize and see who was given the Senior Scholar-Athlete Award.

The Senior Scholar-Athlete Awards are presented annually to seniors who have earned above a 3.20 cumulative grade point average during thier career at Western Michigan University. WMU athletics took pictures of the honorary event to commend the seniors on their success. The event included every sport at Western Michigan.

Further, each student-athlete was allowed to bring a significant person, faculty member, who contributed to their success at WMU or made an impact on their lives. Athletic Director Kathy Beauregard, Associate Athletic Director Jeff Stone, and other administrative members made announcements and congratulated the seniors for their hard work and dedication to Western Michigan University.

Normally, the Senior Scholar-Athlete Award is bestowed upon a deserving male and female student-athlete. With the academic success of the senior women's soccer players, they recieved the award as a group. Below is a list of the senior Scholar-Athletes that received above a 3.20 grade point average at Western Michigan.
