CHICAGO, Ill. - The Western Michigan women's tennis team got an early point in singles play and looked to have some momentum, but the Broncos ultimately were unable to overcome DePaul and fell to the Blue Demons 6-1 at the Lakeshore Athletic Club in Chicago on Sunday.  With the loss, the Broncos fall to 10-11 overall, 4-6 in Midwest Region play.

The Broncos fell just short of taking the doubles point against the Blue Demons as the team of Maggie Remynse and Amanda Moccia defeated Cali Gustafson and Christiana Raymond 8-3 in the No. 3 doubles match.  However, the Blue Demons were able to clinch the doubles point by winning the No. 1 match 8-4.

Similarly, WMU posted the first result of the singles play, as Rachel Denny dominated play in taking the No. 6 singles match 6-0, 6-0.  Again, though, DePaul would rebound and take the remainder of the matches.
