KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan women's tennis team announced today that Ella Perinovic has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the WMU and join the Bronco women's tennis program.  She will enter as a freshman with four years of eligibility.

"We're very pleased that Ella has chosen to join the Bronco family," said associate head coach Ryan Tomlinson.  "She's a great student-athlete, which is what we are looking for in our program.  We expect great things from Ella in her time at WMU."

A 5-7 right-handed player, Perinovic is a native of Zagreb, Croatia, and has consistently ranked among the top-five tennis players in the country.  She has recorded wins over players with World Tennis Association rankings, including Tena Lukas (WTA 707), and has also notched victories over countrywomen that have gone on to successful college careers in the United States.

The daughter of Valter and Tatjana, Perinovic intends to study Architechture at Western Michigan.
