Two Broncos went a perfect 3-0 on the day, with the doubles pairing of Yuriko Ono and Kelsey King winning both doubles matches in which they competed and also picking up wins in their respective singles matches. Ono and King defeated Notre Dame's Darby Mountford and Alaina Roberts 6-3 in their first doubles match of the day, and completed their doubles sweep with a 6-5 (6) win over Mary Beth King and Kim Schmider. King took her singles win against Colorado's Ashley Tiefel, coming back from a one-set deficit to defeat Tiefel 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (4) in a three-setter. Meanwhile, Ono downed Roberts in a three-set match of her own, bouncing back from a second-set loss to win 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (6).
