Indre Falls to #31 Andrews at ITA Midwest Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped its weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regional, with Nadin Indre just narrowly falling to Notre Dame's Greg Andrews in the quarterfinals of the Main Singles Draw.

Indre, who entered the tournament as the 12th seed and is currently ranked #124 nationally, won his first three matches of the tournament en route to a quarterfinal match against Andrews, who was the second seed in the tournament and is ranked #31 in the nation. Andrews won a first set tiebreaker against Indre and just narrowly topped him in the second set as well, winning 7-6, 6-4.

Indre finished the weekend with a 3-1 record in singles and split his doubles matches on the weekend, making it a 4-2 stop in Columbus.
