Broncos Maintain Top 10 Presence in National Polls

KALAMAZOO -- The Western Michigan hockey team remained in the nation's top 10 in both the and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll for the 13th straight week.

The Broncos (18-8-6, 14-6-4-2 CCHA) came in at eighth in the poll and seventh in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll. WMU currently sit just two points out of first place in the CCHA behind Miami and are one point ahead of Notre Dame. Western Michigan and the 11th ranked Fighting Irish meet this weekend in Kalamazoo. Friday's 7:35 p.m. game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network and Saturday's puck drop is scheduled for Saturday at 7:05 p.m.

Western Michigan has maintained a position in the top 15 of every poll this season with peaking at No. 6 for three straight weeks.
