LIVE STATS

Note: Despite the fact that Western Michigan University was closed on Thursday, January 31 due to inclement weather, tonight's match will still be played at its normal time.

THE SERIES
This will be the first ever meeting between the Broncos and the Tigers, but this will not be the first time the Broncos have ever faced off against a member of the Ivy League. The Broncos hold a 2-2 record in team matches against the Ivy League, including a 2-0 record against Cornell, and matching 0-1 records against Brown and Penn.

SCHOLARLY PURSUITS
It was announced that Ross VanderPloeg of the Western Michigan men's tennis team has been named the MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week for Jan. 28, marking the second straight week that a Bronco men's tennis player has won the award. Junior Nadin Indre was the recipient the previous week.

LAST MAN STANDING
We are now five matches into the 2013 dual match season, and only one Bronco can boast a perfect record in singles play since team matches began. Nadin Indre is 4-0 in singles matches during dual match play this season, including a 3-0 record in No. 1 singles. Indre is also tied for the best dual match record in doubles play; he, along with newcomer Ruben Greiner, are each 4-1 in doubles matches this season.
