Indre Takes MAC Player of the Week Honors
Indre has posted a 6-0 overall record over the first two weeks of the season, including two No. 1 singles wins and three No. 1 doubles wins. Indre kicked off the season with a pair of wins against Detroit on January 11; he teamed up with fellow Bronco Stephen Payne to defeat Detroit 8-7, (7-3) in a very close number one doubles match. In singles, he defeated Detroit's Mike Basha 6-3, 6-2 in the number two singles match. The junior kept the ball rolling against #41 Northwestern on Jan. 13, winning both his singles and doubles matches. He opened up doubles by teaming with Ruben Greiner to defeat Northwestern's pair of Spencer Wolf and Fedor Baev 8-5 in the number one doubles match. In singles, after dropping the first set 5-7, Indre won the next two sets 6-3 and 10-8 to beat Wolf in the No. 1 singles match.
Most recently, Indre was part of a winning effort as the Broncos defeated Illinois-Chicago on Jan. 18. He again teamed with Greiner to defeat the Flames' Alexander Raa and Rahul Kamath 8-3 in the No. 1 doubles match, and earned another No. 1 singles victory with a 6-2, 6-3 thumping of Isaac Lloveras.
