KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The two seniors of the Western Michigan women's tennis team secured victories on Sunday, and the Broncos completed the weekend and the fall tournament season at the WMU Super Challenge.

Seniors Maggie Remynse and Jill Pastunink each earned singles victories on Sunday, with Remynse winning the No. 6 singles back draw and Pastunink taking third place in the No. 4 singles back draw.  Remynse completed a 2-1 weekend in singles play,  finishing her fall season with positive momentum towards the spring campaign.  Facing Marquette's Vanessa Foltinger, Remynse took the first set 6-4, but dropped the second to her opponent.  Remynse outlasted Foltinger in the super-tiebreaker third set, defeating her 10-8 to claim the title.

Pastunink also finished the weekend on a victory, defeating Iowa State's Meghan Cassens in the third place match of the No. 4 singles back draw.   Pastunink was in control throughout the match, downing her opponent 6-2, 6-4.
