Women's Basketball Locker Room Receives Upgrade
KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The first step in a continuing project to make improvements and upgrades to the Western Michigan women's basketball locker room was completed this past week.
Doors were installed on each one of the wooden player lockers, with a graphic bearing the individual player's name and hometown. Words to the Bronco fight song were also added above the lockers. Earlier this year, the team received a new flat screen television in the locker room.
The improvements were made possible by money raised by the women's basketball program and its booster club, the Full Court Press. Additional enhancements are also in the works, with a mural, much like that outside of the men's basketball locker room at Western Michigan planned.
