Men's Soccer to Host Prospect Camp Nov. 24

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men's soccer team will host its Thanksgiving Prospect Camp Saturday, Nov. 24.

Camp Overview: Campers will enjoy a full day in a collegiate training environment, a college recruiting talk, a WMU Soccer t-shirt, and the opportunity to play in front of college coaches from around the region. Space is limited, so register early! Enrollment is open to current high school freshmen and older.

9:00 - 9:50 AM Registration (Seelye Center Lobby)
9:30 AM GK Session
10:00 AM Camp Introduction
10:15 - 11:30 AM Tactical and Technical Training Session
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Full Sided Games
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Break for Lunch
1:30 - 3:45 PM Full Sided Games
3:45 - 4:00 PM College recruiting talk and closing remarks

Cost: $125 per player
All Players will receive WMU Soccer T-Shirt

*** All registrations must be received by 10:00 AM E.S.T. on Friday, November 23rd Registration will be limited to the first 120 field players and 16 goalkeepers to register and will be closed after this number is reached.***

Camp Store: Bronco soccer gear will be available for purchase at the camp store in the Seelye Center lobby. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.

*Note: Travel, lodging, and meal/lunch arrangements are the sole responsibility of each camper.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Refunds will be given up to one week prior to camp (November 17th) excluding a $50 handling fee. Refunds after this time will only be given to athletes that are unable to attend due to medical reasons - these requests must be accompanied by a signed medical statement on letterhead from your physician. There will be a $50 fee assessed for each returned check.

***There will be NO refunds due to weather cancellations or postponements.***

Facility: The Men's Soccer 2012 Thanksgiving Prospect Camp will be held in Western Michigan's $22 million dollar, state of the art, Seelye Indoor Facility. Parking is available in the lot in front of the Seelye Center located off of Stadium Drive.

Directions to the WMU Seelye Center:
From I-94: At exit #74, turn north onto US-131, go 2.7 miles, see continued directions from US-131 below.
From US-131: Exit #36A (Stadium Drive East) and proceed 2.5 miles. After crossing Oliver Street (in between basketball arena and softball field), the second right will be the entrance (Lot 7) to the Seelye Center. The Seelye Center is the building located at the east end of the football stadium.

Additional Information:
• We encourage all campers to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 AM in order to ensure that all check-in/registration is completed by 10:00 AM for the start of camp.
• Prospects need to bring adequate training apparel: a ball, shinguards, and a pair of firm ground cleats and/or turf cleats (training surface is Field Turf).
• Camp will be held both inside of our indoor facility (the Seelye Center) and outside on the football field in Waldo Stadium - please prepare/dress accordingly, as it can be cold in Michigan this time of year.
