EAST LANSING, Mich. - The doubles pairing of Nadin Indre and Ross VanderPloeg made it all the way to the semifinals of the ITA Midwest Regional doubles draw, wrapping up what stands as one of the best finishes at the tournament in program history.

Indre and VanderPloeg finished a 4-1 weekend in doubles play with a flourish on the final day, reaching the final four in the main doubles draw before bowing out.  They began the day with another impressive battle, defeating Michigan's Michael Zhu and Alex Petrone 8-6 in the quarterfinal round.  The Broncos jumped out to a huge lead in the set, leading the Wolverines 7-3 before their opponents picked up a pair of breaks.  The lead slimmed to just 7-6, the Broncos served out for the set win.

"Both Ross and Nadin looked very strong in that match, especially early on," said WMU head coach Dave Morin.  "They were very, very good."

The Broncos advanced to the semifinals of the main doubles draw, taking on Tim Kopinski and Farris Gosea of Illinois.  The Broncos had trouble keeping up with the red-hot Illini, bowing out of the tournament after an 8-1 loss.
