EAST LANSING, Mich. -  The doubles pairing of Ross VanderPloeg and Nadin Indre advanced to the quarterfinals of the main doubles draw, and the Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped its second day of play at the ITA Midwest Regionals event hosted by Michigan State.  The pair will play tomorrow at 12:30 in the afternoon.

Indre and VanderPloeg picked up a pair of wins on the day en route to a berth in the quarterfinals of the tournament, defeating opponents from Illinois and DePaul.  The pairing began their day with a victory over the Illini's Julian Childers and Ross Guignon, hanging tight with the pair before defeating them 8-6.

After moving to the round of 16, Indre and VanderPloeg faced the familiar pairing of Mathias Hambach and Filip Dzanko of DePaul.  In a result identical to their first match of the day, Indre and VanderPloeg downed their opponent 8-6 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the doubles draw.

Indre and VanderPloeg will be back in action on Sunday at 12:30 p.m., when they take on a pairing from Michigan.
