Tyler Van Tubbergen Nominated for Manning Award "Star" of the Week
NEW ORLEANS - Tyler Van Tubbergen is one of eight QBs in the nation you can vote for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Manning Award "Star" of the Week by liking his picture on Facebook.

Tubbergen threw five touchdowns in a game for the second time in his career, becoming only the second quarterback in program history to accomplish the feat twice, joining teammate Alex Carder, and falling one passing TD shy of his personal best of six.
He also rushed for another TD in WMU's 52-14 win over UMass. Van Tubbergen was 23-for-28 (82.1 percent), completing passes to 11 different receivers (3 RBs, 5 WRs, 3 TEs) and throwing TD passes to five different receivers (2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE) for a career high 283 yards.
