Broncos Announce 2012-13 Televised Games
The men's basketball team will be featured on SportsTime Ohio twice this season, once at home and once on the road. The Broncos will make their conference television debut on Saturday, February 9, when they take on MAC West division rival Ball State at Worthen Arena in a 6 p.m. tip-off. The Broncos will be back on television just one week later when they host division foe Northern Illinois at University Arena, with the game scheduled for Saturday, February 16 at 6 p.m.
The women's basketball team is slated to take on a conference opponent on television for the third consecutive year and fourth time in the last five seasons, when the Broncos travel to Athens to take on Ohio on Saturday, February 16. The game is scheduled for a 12 p.m. tip-off.
In addition to the games scheduled for SportsTime Ohio, the Bronco men's basketball team will make two non-conference television appearances in 2012-13. The Broncos' game at Michigan on Tuesday, December 4 will be carried by the Big Ten Network and is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. tip. The Broncos will appear on ESPNU when they take on North Carolina State on Saturday, December 29, with the game scheduled for a 12 p.m. tip-off.
A total of 40 games will be produced and distributed by SportsTime Ohio, the league's regional cable flagship partner. In addition, there will be at least 13 other men's basketball games that are scheduled to be televised on ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3). The regional productions produced by STO will also have the potential to air on ESPN Full Court and ESPN3.
Selected games will also be available in the MAC footprint via Comcast Michigan (channel 900), Comcast Indiana (channel 81) and Comcast Sports Net Chicago. Check your local listings for game times and local availability. Games will also be available via STO in the Buffalo market on DirecTV (channel 662) and Dish Network (channel 431) as Buffalo is part of STO's normal distribution footprint.
