Women's Basketball Walk-On Tryouts Scheduled for Sept. 27

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan women's basketball team will hold walk-on tryouts Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8 a.m. in University Arena. To try out for a Western Michigan varsity athletic team, you must be a current, full-time student at WMU.

A physical, sickle cell test, and insurance paperwork must be completed to attend the tryout session. A PDF of the required physical form, as well as insurance form, can be downloaded at the top of this page. No form is necessary for the sickle cell test. A copy of the results should be turned in with physical and proof of insurance. Physicals and sickle cell test may be done on campus at the Sindecuse Center or by a family physician.
