MAC Football Media Day To Be Carried Live on ESPN3
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference and ESPN have announced that this year’s 2012 MAC Football Media Day
will be shown LIVE nationally on ESPN3. The event will highlight the
league’s annual kickoff event on Tuesday, July 24th at Ford Field in
Detroit, Mich. MAC Media Day coverage on ESPN3 will kick off a record
number of exclusive MAC events available live on the network with over
15 games scheduled for the upcoming season. The event will be carried
live from 8:30 a.m. – Noon ET and will feature each of the league's head
coaches as well as selected student-athletes from the 13 football
institutions.
Not only will MAC Football fans around
the country be able to watch the live show previewing the upcoming 2012
season, but they will also have the opportunity to interact with the
head coaches, student-athletes and league office regarding media day.
The MAC will post updates throughout the day using its Twitter and
Facebook feeds. The official twitter hashtag for the 2012 MAC Football Media Day
and ESPN3 coverage is #MACFBDay. Official tweets will include this
hashtag and all media and fans are also asked to use it in their tweets
related to the event and when sending questions to their favorite
coaches and student-athletes.
