Campers will enjoy a full day in a collegiate training environment, a college recruiting talk, a WMU Soccer t-shirt, and the opportunity to play in front of college coaches from around the region. Space is limited, so register early! Enrollment is open to current high school freshman and older.

The objective of the Summer Youth Camp is to encourage and help develop the soccer abilities and knowledge of the developing boy and girl player using principles and methods that are educationally sound. This program is specifically designed for youth soccer players with an emphasis on skills and fun!


Date(s): July 30th - August 4th
Teams will enjoy the opportunity to be trained by WMU coaches in a collegiate training environment in preparation of the upcoming high school season. Players will get two full 90-minute training sessions with their high school team, as well as the opportunity to compete in a scrimmage against another high school team.

Goalkeepers will have the opportunity to be trained by WMU coaches in a collegiate training environment. Practice sessions will address the mental, physical, tactical, and technical aspects of the position. Players will participate in four, 1.5 hour training sessions covering all facets of goalkeeping including: shot-stopping, diving, handling crosses, footwork, breakaways, and distribution.
