Sophomore Corie Buchanan became the fourth Broncos this season to register 20-plus points, with a career-high 21 points at Toledo, Feb. 18 ... senior Maria Iaquaniello has five games with 20 or more points, while junior Aurielle Anderson and freshman Julia Henson each have one.
SCOUTING BALL STATE
The Cardinals are led by Kelly Packard, in her fourth season ... BSU went 5-8 during the non-conference season and has defeated Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois, Kent State and Central Michigan in MAC play ... the Cardinals are 7-7 at home ... the team averages 58.7 ppg (68.6 MAC) and allows 65.4 ppg (65.9 MAC) against, and shoots 36.8 percent from the field ... five players average better than six points per game, but no one is averaging double figures ... Jazmin Hitchens (9.3 ppg) and Brittany Carter (8.7 ppg) are the top two scorers.
This will be the 68th meeting between Western Michigan and Ball State, WMU up one all-time, 34-33 ... the Broncos won the first meeting this year, 76-64, in Kalamazoo ... the two split last year's meetings, WMU winning in Kalamazoo, 68-51, on Feb. 26, and Ball State winning in Muncie, 67-60, Jan. 11 ... the Cardinals have had the upper hand in the series in recent years, winning 13 of the last 17.

HENSON'S STREAK SNAPPED
Julia Henson's 23-game streak with a made 3-pointer came to an end Saturday at Toledo ... it was the first time since the second game of the season at Michigan State Henson failed to make a three ... MSU and Toledo are the only games she has not made a three, making a long ball in 24 of 26 contests ... Henson has made six or more three's in three contests and was one shy of the school record with eight against Buffalo ... she has 64 three's overall (eighth most in WMU single-season) and 45 during MAC play ... career three-point leader Casey Rost holds three of the top five single-season marks, including the record with 79 in 2003-04.
