Alex Carder was one of five Mid-American Conference returnees honored at the Touchdown Club of Columbus as a 2012 Player to Watch.

On Feb. 11, Carder traveled to Columbus, Ohio for the 57th Annual TDC of Columbus Awards Banquet where not only were these five MAC student-athletes being honored but national honors were bestowed as well.

Boise State's Kellen Moore, Houston's Case Keenum, Wisconsin's Montee Ball and Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder were among those honored and in attendance.

Carder's former favorite target Jordan White was also honored.  The wide receiver was awarded the inaugural TDC of Columbus President's Award for 2011.  The award honors the best performance across the nation that was the most under the radar during the season.

White was not in attendance due to his training schedule in Dallas, Texas as he prepares for the NFL Combine (Feb. 22-28).
