The Western Michigan University Football Team will be hosting a Fan Appreciation Night at Waldo Stadium on August 23, 2009 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. The Broncos will open the gates of Waldo to fans as they get geared up for the 2009 season.

Bronco fans will have an opportunity to meet the coaches and members of the team. Players will also be available for autographs.  In addition, other fun activities are planned for the evening including an inflatable game and appearances by Buster Bronco and the Cheer and Dance Teams. Also, to show their appreciation, every fan through the gate will receive a prize courtesy of Bronco Athletics.

Music will be provided by Jeff Cassidy of Cool 101 and the first 300 fans will be treated to free food and drink courtesy of EMA enterprises and Coca-Cola.

With season tickets starting as low as $55, Bronco Athletics will also be running a select-a-seat promotion, where fans still needing season tickets can hand pick which seats they want.  The best 50 seats available at Waldo will be identified and can be purchased at the Ticket Office that night.

This is a FREE event and open to the public, so bring the entire family. Complimentary parking will be available in Lots 7 and 10.  Gates will open at 5:30pm and fans will need to enter through Gates 2 and 4.

The Broncos kick-off their season on September 5th at University of Michigan at 3:30pm, and their home opener is September 19th against Miami University at 7:00pm.
