The Western Michigan University dance team is under the supervision of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The team performs at every Bronco football, men's basketball and women's basketball game. A squad performs at alternating volleyball matches. The team performs to most of the tunes played by the Bronco Marching Band. The team also puts together special performances for halftime at basketball games.

The WMU Dance Team attended the National Dance Alliance Collegiate National Championship this past April in Daytona Beach, Fla. The Bronco Dance Team, former national champions (2007) brought home the second place trophy in the Open Division 1A. The team looks forward to 2010 and an opportunity to again be named National Champions.

WMU Dance Team will be having auditions for the 2010-11 season on Sunday, May 2 at 12 p.m. (location TBA). For more information or questions please contact Coach Kate Clark k8clark@sbcglobal.net.
