The Broncos take part in numerous community service projects each year. These projects help our student-athletes have a more complete experience at Western Michigan University. They also give the Broncos a chance to meet the people of West Michigan.
The Broncos are involved in such things as Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as numerous organizations around the Kalamazoo community.
If you would like Bronco student-athletes or staff to become involved with your organization, please contact Allison Frontczak at (269) 387-3343.
Hey Kids! Join Buster Bronco, as a member of the coolest Kid's Club around! Cheer on the Broncos all year long as a member of this excuslive club. For more information and to register on-line click here
Care About Kids Program
Western Michigan University’s Care About Kids program provides a unique opportunity for underprivileged and at-risk youth of our communities to attend Bronco athletic events that they might not otherwise be able to attend.
Private donations are used to purchase tickets to sporting events at WMU, including football, volleyball, hockey, and men & women’s basketball. In addition, special events are planned throughout the year such as clinics, autograph sessions with the teams, and pizza parties.
Tickets are given to youth agencies in surrounding communities that register with the Community Relations office. These agencies provide adult supervision for the youth that visit the Western Michigan campus.
Your contribution to WMU’s Care About Kids is tax-deductible. For information about donating to the program or registering an agency, please contact Jeremy Mann at (269) 387-3615.
