Amy Washington has been a member of the Western Michigan athletic department for 15 years. She began working at WMU in the department of Human Resources in Aug. of 1993 to Jan. 1997.

Washington became a secretary to the Senior Associate Athletic Director (Kathy Beauregard) in Jan. 1997 and took over the same position for the Senior Associate Athletic Director (Dave Corstange) in Jan. 1998. On Jan. 31, 2005, she became an administrative assistant to the Director of Athletics (Kathy Beauregard).

Prior to joining Western Michigan, Washington was living in Grand Rapids, Mich., and working at Old Kent Bank Corporate Service Center in the Loan Department. She graduated from Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids, Mich., in 1988.
