KALAMAZOO -- The Western Michigan hockey program wrapped up its annual Alumni and Friends weekend with participation of over 300 people.

After an intense alumni game the group headed for a get together at The Wayside that featured over 200 guests and alumni.

Saturday saw the induction of Ed Edwards, Paul Polillo, Jamal Mayers and Brett Brekke into the WMU Hockey Ring of Honor prior to the annual golf scramble at The Moors. The winning group was Red Wings assistant coach, alum and former associate head coach Pat Ferschweiler, Brekke, Brian Gallentine, Thom Dukeshere and JP LaRoche.

The group beat out over 120 golfers.
