KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Mid-American Conference announced its television schedule as a part of the ESPN relationship as three WMU games were chosen.

For the second time in as many seasons, Western Michigan's home opener will be showcased on the ESPN3 platform as the Broncos will host Nicholls on Sept. 7 at 7 p.m., to open the 75th season of Waldo Stadium.

A second home game will appear on the ESPN family of networks on Nov. 16 with a 12 p.m., kickoff against rival Central Michigan, the annual "Battle for the Cannon" game.  The game will air on ESPN Plus/ESPN3/ESPN Game Plan.

WMU closes out the regular season on national television when the Broncos travel to Northern Illinois on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 7 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN2.

Western Michigan also appears on television in the season opener at Michigan State on Aug. 30 (B1G Network) and at Northwestern on Sept. 14 (B1G Network).  The Broncos will face Iowa on Sept. 21 with a television network at game time yet to be announced.

WMU's non-televised games for 2013 are Kent State (Sept. 28 - 7 p.m.), at Toledo (Oct. 5 - 3 p.m.), Buffalo (Oct. 12 - 2 p.m.), Ball State (Oct. 19 - 2 p.m.), at UMass (Oct. 26 - 3 p.m.) and at Eastern Michigan (Nov. 9 - 1 p.m.).
