KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Athletic Board approved the fall portion of the 2013-14 women's golf season on June 13.  The fall campaign features four tournament dates with three being return trips and one new event. 

The Broncos open the 2013 fall campaign at the Mary Fossum Invitational, hosted by Michigan State University, on Sept. 14-15.  WMU is participating in the event for the seventh time in program history, looking to top its best finish at the tournament in 2002, finishing tied for eighth.

WMU returns to the Nittany Lion Women's Invitational on Sept. 27-29 after registering a top-10 finish in 2012.  The Broncos' best finish at the tournament came in 2010 when they finished runner-up in the 17-team field.

Western Michigan joins seven of eight Mid-American Conference counterparts in the 2013 edition of The Preview on Oct. 7-8, hosted by Ball State, at The Hawthorns Golf Club, site of the 2014 MAC Championships.  It is the lone 36-hole event this coming fall.

The lone new event on WMU's fall schedule is the Rocket Classic at Catawba Island on Oct. 14-15.
