Women's Soccer Travels to Akron and Buffalo

KALAMAZOO -- The Western Michigan women's soccer team begins its final weekend road trip of the regular season as they head to Akron on Friday night and Buffalo on Sunday afternoon.

With three games remaining the Broncos look to cement their position in the top eight of the Mid-American Conference for a spot in the MAC Tournament. WMU and Akron (5-10-0, 1-7-0 MAC) kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening. The Broncos are looking to rebound after falling to Kent State in overtime last Friday. Sunday's game against Ohio was canceled due to weather, causing the MAC standings to be determined now by points per game rather than points.

On Sunday the Broncos face Buffalo (4-10-1, 2-5-1 MAC), who sits directly in front of them in the MAC standings. The two teams kick off at noon. The Broncos end the regular season on the road next Thursday at Eastern Michigan.
