Western Michigan has played in eight overtime games in program history with a record of 4-4 and a scoring breakdown of 271-271. All but one of the Broncos’ eight OT games have come in the month of October and six of them have come on the road. Only one OT game has gone longer than one period (2005 - 5 OTs vs. Ball State), which is the longest game (in terms of OT periods in Mid-American Conference history.
