THE HISTORY: This is only the third year of the event, formerly referred to as The MAC Preview. WMU AT THE THE PREVIEW: WMU has finished in the top four each of the two times this tournament has been played, winning the event the last time it was played at the Longaberger Golf Club. Britney Hamilton finished runner up (75-76=151) in 2010, two shots behind medalist Hanna Ek (Akron). Melissa Beurmann was the Broncos' low scorer in 2011 (76-76=152), finishing in a three-way tie for seventh.
WMU LINE UP: The Broncos will go back to the line up that produced its best finish of the fall when WMU finished runner up at the Cardinal Classic. Beurmann will be joined by Kelsey Carney, Kaylee Imel, Heather Marks and Laura Moutrey. Emma Salata will make her collegiate debut, competing as an individual.
WMU SO FAR IN 2012-13: WMU has had two top 10 finishes this fall with its best finish coming at the Cardinal Classic (2nd). The Broncos have carded four team rounds at 310 or better with the best round coming in the middle of the Nittany Lion Women's Invitational (298).
