KALAMAZOO -- Several members of the Western Michigan cross country team will be helping out at the Kalamazoo Kids' Klassic 1k run on Friday evening.

The Kids' Klassic, co-sponsored by Gazelle Sports, is part of the 33rd running of the annual Kalamazoo Klassic that features nine different races and walks. The team will help show the kids some basic stretching and run the race with them.

The Kid's Klassic starts at 6:30 p.m. at the YWCA on Maple Street in downtown Kalamazoo. The YWCA will also have many other activities for children and their families.
