SERIES HISTORY
The Broncos and Fighting Irish have met 74 times in program history with the Broncos leading the all-time series 37-30-7. Derek Roehl, Max Campbell and freshman Chase Balisy each have three goals in their careers against Notre Dame, with all of Balisy's coming in the series earlier this season. Roehl leads all scorers with eight points, with Campbell right behind him with seven. Nick Pisellini got both starts earlier this season, giving up three goals in each game with a .875 save percentage. Jerry Kuhn has a 0-1-1 record against Notre Dame with a 3.50 goals against average and a .920 save percentage.
ANOTHER LOOK AT THE FIGHTING IRISH
Notre Dame (20-9-5, 17-6-3-2) sits atop the CCHA standings by just a point over Michigan. The Fighting Irish are looking to take their third regular-season title in the last five seasons.
Notre Dame has put themselves in this position with a high-powered offense led by two of the best freshmen forwards in the nation in T.J. Tynan and Anders Lee. Tynan has produced 32 points (14 goals, 18 assists) in 26 conference games and 44 points overall, while Lee is just behind him with 30 points in CCHA play and 38 overall. Combined they helped Notre Dame produce the top offense in the league, averaging 3.54 goals per game in conference play. Senior forward Ryan Guentzel has been one of the top distributors in the league and leads the Fighting Irish with 26 assists. Sophomore defenseman Sam Calabrese is the top scorer from the blue line with six goals and 10 assists.
Notre Dame's defense has allowed 2.50 goals per game in conference play and sophomore goalie Mike Johnson has seen most of the action in net. Johnson has made 21 appearances in conference play with a 13-5-2 record and a 2.38 goals against average. He holds a .909 save percentage in contrast to freshman Steven Summerhays, who's numbers are slightly below Johnson's at 2.84 goals against and .862 save percentage. Summerhays has a slightly better winning percentage, going 4-1-1 in conference play.
Notre Dame has the third best power play in the conference, netting 23 power play goals on an 18.1 percent conversion rate. Lee leads the team with five power play tallies with Jeff Costello behind him with four. The Fighting Irish penalty kill has struggled at times, ranking eighth in the league at 80.2 percent.
PLAYOFF SCENARIOS
The Broncos have the possibility of finishing anywhere from fourth to seventh after the weekend. If WMU finishes in fourth place they will receive a first round bye and play the fifth seed in the second round. If the Broncos place fifth they will still get a first round bye but must go on the road to the fourth seed. If WMU finishes in sixth or seventh they will host a first round series next weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday if need be.

• This year's senior class has combined to appear in 589 games, score 67 goals and tally 102 assists for 169 points.
• Max Campbell (146), Ryan Watson (122) and Mike Levendusky (102) have each appeared in over 100 games.
