NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team dropped its second match in a row, 6-1, at No. 31 Yale on Sunday afternoon.
Senior Yumi Matsuto won both of her matches to surpass 100 career wins for the Broncos (7-7). Matsuto teamed with freshman Jill Pastunink to win 8-5 at No. 2 doubles against the Bulldogs (10-2) for her 100th win. She added her 101st win in singles to account for WMU's lone point with a come-from-behind victory over Stevi Petrelli 3-6, 7-6, 1-0 (7) at No. 4 singles.
The Broncos are off until March 20-21 when they head to Texas to face Sam Houston State and No. 32 Rice.
