KALAMAZOO -- The Western Michigan men's basketball team will host its second 2009 NCAA Tournament team this season when Temple visits University Arena on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The Owls (4-2), back-to-back champions of the Atlantic 10 Tournament, are making their first trip to Kalamazoo in the third meeting between the two schools. WMU has dropped each of the previous games in Philadelphia in 1944 and 2006.
The Broncos (2-2) are coming off a 10-point home victory, 64-54, over Patriot League favorite Holy Cross on Saturday and Colonial Athletic Association power and defending champion VCU, 83-67, on Nov. 18 at University Arena.
The Broncos are concluding a home-and-home series against Temple that was a result of the Owls inclusion in the MAC for football. Read more in Hawk Talk.
