Community Service
The Broncos take part in numerous community service projects each year. These projects help our student-athletes have a more complete experience at Western Michigan University. They also give the Broncos a chance to meet the people of western Michigan. The Broncos are involved in such things as Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as numerous organizations around the Kalamazoo community.

Care About Kids
Western Michigan University's Care About Kids Program provides a unique opportunity for underprivileged and at-risk youth of our communities to attend Bronco athletic events that they might not otherwise be able to attend. In addition, special events are planned throughout the year such as autograph sessions with the teams and in-game promotion participation. Tickets are given to youth agencies in surrounding communities that register with the Community Engagement office. These agencies provide adult supervision for the youth that visit the Western Michigan campus. Gifts to WMU's Care About Kids are tax-deductible.
