Bob D'Amelio assumed the position of Assistant Athletic Director in April, 1998. His primary responsibilities include the management and supervision of the marketing, media relations and licensing functions within the division.

A native of Lansing, Michigan, D'Amelio has been a member of the athletics staff since 1987, beginning his WMU career as assistant ticket manager. He was appointed athletic ticket manager in 1988 and assumed the position of director of marketing and promotions in 1991. He received his bachelor's degree (social science) in 1978 and his master's degree (athletic administration) in 1986 from Michigan State University.

D'Amelio is married (Diane). The couple has a daughter (Anna).
