Jeff Stone assumed the position of Associate Athletic Director for Academic Services and Compliance in April of 1998.

He manages and monitors the academic progress of all WMU student-athletes. Stone also supervises the compliance area within the department. Additionally, he oversees the Bronco baseball, softball and track programs.

A native of Midland, Michigan, Stone joined the athletics staff in August of 1987 as WMU's first director of academic support. He received his bachelor's degree (English and Education) in 1982 from Alma College and a master's degree (College Student Personnel) from Bowling Green State University in 1986.

Stone is married (Anne). The couple has two children (Elizabeth and Andrew).
